Facilities
At Angel Nest, the Trustees take every effort to provide adequate comfort for the children. It has the following facilities.
The Home
All the children are housed in the Angel Nest’s home behind Vijayanagar Police camp, Marol. This is a 1750 sq ft building, in two stairs.
Study Room
The building has 500 sq ft hall that is used for the children to study, pray, practice song, dance, birthday celebration..etc. The room is fitted with six fans and ten lights.
Cloak Room
Children are provided with individual storage facility in the cloak room in order to safe keep their books, dress.. etc.
Bed Room
The bed room is in the first floor. It has 30 bunk beds of steel frame. The room has sufficient ventilation and 10 cooler fans are provided for the children to have comfortable sleep.
Warden's Room
One 100 sq ft room, attached with bath and toilet, is provided for the warden of Angel Nest.
Kitchen-cum-Dining
The kitchen –cum- dining room has 225sq ft area. The room is fitted with over head storage facility, water purifier, refrigerator , electrical oven and cooking gas connectivity.Food is prepared in accordance with a well set diet plan and served to children in the kitchen-cum-dining room
Television
Children are provided with television. During holidays children are shown CD s of movies and cartoons. Viewing of general television channels are allowed during holidays and vacation.
Toilet and Bath
Seven spacious toilets cum bath rooms are provided with water tap and flush tank facility.
